In September 2022, the International Trade Administration (ITA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce awarded UCEEF with a 2022 Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) award for its promotion of the export of products and services from the U.S. environmental industry (e.g., environmental equipment manufacturers, environmental service providers, and carbon reducing technologies) to the Chinese market.

As a recipient of the 2022 MDCP award, UCEEF works closely with ITA staff worldwide, including the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, and officials based in Washington, DC. As part of the award grant, UCEEF will aid the U.S. industry in meeting China’s growing demand for environmental products and services in the areas of solid waste management and carbon reduction.
